Escritores Bruce Sterling E Roberto Causo visitam Ferréz

O escritor americano Bruce Sterling (autor dos livros The difference Engine, Islands in the Net e criador do movimento Cyber Punk, que causou uma revolução dentro da Ficção cientifica), chegou no Capão hoje, acompanhado de sua esposa e do autor Roberto Causo
Visitando o Interferência, projeto criado por Ferréz, que atualmente ensina 90 crianças no Jardim Comercial.

Segundo Roberto Causo, o autor concebeu uma nova porta para a ficção e se não fosse seus livros não existiria filmes como Matrix.

O escritor de ficção científica Bruce Sterling (1) mantém um blog na revista Wired, conceituada publicação sobre tecnologia e cultura, e ele mencionou a loja da 1dasul como um modelo de negócios da periferia.

esse link me foi enviado por Bruno Evangelista, agradeço a atenção. segue abaixo a matéria que Bruce colocou no site, e depois tem um pequeno resumo de seu trabalho, o autor vai estar lançando um livro pela Devir, junto com Roberto Causo, Duplo Cyberpunk, nesse livro existe um personagem chamado Ferraz que é uma referência a minha pessoa, o personagem tem um grupo de resistência social, nunca pensei que fosse virar personagem de ficção cientifica, que se cuide Blade Runner.

*So, these 1DASUL guys are Paulistas who make some with-it clothing in a local favela. That’s not quite what I mean when I’m incessantly referring to “Favela Chic” as a modern cultural concept, but hey, it’s nice to know that they exist. And they mean business, too.

What is 1DASUL?

The 1dasul was founded on 1 April 1999 and is thought to be a mark toward the periphery, being developed for urban talent, thus creating an authentic identity with those parts of the city.

The name comes from the idea we are all one in the same struggle, the same ideal, so we are all one for the dignity of the neighborhoods.

The brand with the response time became one of Lilac and other areas for any violence that it is credited, making residents proud of where they live and fight for a better place with less violence and more hope.

We, Brazilians, descendants of slaves and Indians never had a symbol on our line, the logo of the phoenix-shaped 1DASUL and number one in focus is a way to have our own coat-of-arms, and he has this sense of joining the periphery.

The logo has the idea 1DASUL be a coat-of-arms of our people.

The coat-of-arms has a sense of unity and brings the idea of a people that comes together to fight for the preservation of their culture.

The brand is socially just, and since January 2009 the company was divided for the employee.

Another approach is to have the brand more than 90% of products produced in the periphery.

(1)Michael Bruce Sterling (14 de abril de 1954, Brownsville, Texas) é um escritor estadunidense de ficção científica, mais conhecido por seus romances e sua obra seminal na antologia Mirrorshades, a qual definiu o gênero cyberpunk. Em 2003 ele foi designado professor da European Graduate School onde leciona cursos de verão intensivos sobre media e design. Roberto Causo:Causo foi atendente de biblioteca, ilustrador editorial e publicitário (free-lancer), antes de publicar profissionalmente o seu primeiro trabalho, o conto "A Última Chance", na revista semiprofissional francesa Antarès—Science fiction et fantastique sans frontières.

Desde então tem publicado profissionalmente pelo menos uma história por ano. Teve contos impressos em publicações tão distintas quanto Playboy, Isaac Asimov Magazine (editada no Brasil pela Editora Record), Cult: Revista Brasileira de Cultura, Ficções: Revista de Contos, Rascunho: O Jornal de Literatura do Brasil, Dragão Brasil e Quark.

Seus contos apareceram em revistas e livros na Argentina, Brasil, Canadá, China, Finlândia, França, Grécia, Portugal (com A Dança das Sombras, seu primeiro livro de contos), República Tcheca e Rússia.
